Being the only medical specialty dealing with disability, PM&R specialists undertake disability evaluation and certification. The Indian Citizens having permanent disability are evaluated on the basis of Guidelines issued by the Government so that UDID can be issued to the Person with Disability (\u0926\u093f\u0935\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0902\u0917\u091c\u0928). Those having temporary disability are issued medical and fitness certificates as any registered medical practitioner.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

PM&R specialists are unique medical specialists who can accurately pinpoint problems and enhance performance for the patient as a whole. The core role of PM&R specialist has following two components<\/p>
